Useful before you land.
Travel planning that avoids false precision. Timetables, transfer prices and club rules change; this guide tells you what to check and where uncertainty matters.
Novalja, Gajac, Stara Novalja or Caska?
Novalja: easiest for restaurants, groceries, harbour life and a broad choice of accommodation.
Gajac: closer to Zrće and apartment-heavy, useful for groups prioritising beach access.
Stara Novalja: calmer base for groups that want sleep between nights out.
Caska: very close to the Zrće area, with a quieter coastal feel outside event hours.
Use current transport information.
Zadar Airport is a common gateway for Pag/Novalja. Road time varies with traffic and season, so allow generous margin. Local shuttles and taxis change schedules and prices through the season—check current information rather than relying on a copied “weekly pass” number from an old guide.
Protect the rest of your trip.
Hydrate, use hearing protection at sustained high-volume events, plan your return transport before the peak exit, keep a charged phone, and avoid relying on a single payment method. Beach conditions and heat can make daytime partying more demanding than it feels.
Separate entry from VIP.
A festival wristband, a single-event ticket and a VIP table are different products. Always check exactly what is included, the named venue/date, entry window, deposit terms and whether a table minimum spend is separate from ticket access.
